Inside Glance – Held Over! An Associated Artists of Pittsburgh Centennial Celebration Event
Open to the public. Come see janese's recent work, including sculpture shown at her recent Chelsea New York solo. Several works from the original March 2010 exhibit are now part of the gallery's permanent collection. Another warm review was published by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The sculptural work in this exhibit represents the range of janese’s work. She blends the abstract with the representational using only essential elements to express the underlying inner narrative. Three- dimensional and bas relief works illustrate her facility using the elegance of the human form, striving to capture the essence of both beauty and emotion.
Several new bronze castings were commissioned for this show. Come see the exquisite detailing afforded by this time-honored technique.
